The Texas Air & Space Museum is a free attraction--which is nice when you have a family. I commend the volunteers for their work...but it seems like it's more of a glorified collection than a real "museum." They're apparently working to raise $1M to move into a full hangar so they can more all of their aircraft indoors (you have... 更多
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Texan Air & Space Museum -- perhaps because my husband has a great deal of knowledge of vintage planes and had a chance to really talk about the planes and their history? We were privileged to meet a 92 year old veteran while there, and he and my husband talked about their childhood... 更多
It's Ok if you are looking for stuff to do, but there isn't much there at the time of writing. I understand they will be relocating to a much bigger facility where they can hold all of their exhibits. We had hoped this would be a 2 hour visit, it was really only worth about 15 minutes at this point.... 更多
very small museum, not easy to find (only a small sign on the wall). Large room with models of all scale and memorabilia. Outside they have a NASA Gulfstream training aircraft which was used for space shuttle training. Also a highly modified Yak, a Huey helicopter and a twin engined army transporter with radial engines. Inside a DC 3 which... 更多
The museum is small but the tour made it fantastic. I took my young grandson. Our guide Dan made our time (2 hours) fun and informative. We were able to get into the NASA Gulfstream 2 and several other planes. I look forward to watching the museum grow in size.
We visited this place because our nephew was with us and he is studying to be a pilot. It is small and right next to the airport. They operate on a limited budget. So there's really not much to it. You get a guided tour of the place and will see some older planes in their hanger and one outside.... 更多
When arriving was a little disappointed but when you get the personal tour by a very knowledgable guide we ended up there for two hours . I would say well worth a visit.
We visited the museum with our children and it was a wonderful experience. Dan was a great guide with lots of information! We loved that you could walk on to the planes and touch the equipment! Highly recommended for a fun afternoon!
