My nine year old is starting to get too old to enjoy all of the different storybook statues, but she still loves taking a walk through. Younger children love it. It's a nice inexpensive way to spend a few hours.
Taking a family here is easy entertainment. It's an easy walk around the park with lots of options for the kids and plenty of benches for the adults. Bring some money for frozen lemonade and a train ride.
I should have posted a review a long time ago. Aberdeen is so lucky to have Storybook Land. It's such a beautiful place, and fun filled for the family. Donations keep this place operating so families can visit for free. It's hard to beat a day at Storybook Land. What's better than taking time with your family, and enjoy being... 更多
It's an amazing park that's free. They offer a small train ride around the park for a small fee. It's located at Wylie Park that offers awesome running/walking trails, free swimming and a cute small free zoo. Camping is available next to the park. They run a very fun Haunted forest in this area in the fall.
Storybook land is always a great place to bring children, or for adults to be children again. They have a great train ride that travels around the park and offers a fun way to see the park without having to walk the whole place. The castle in the middle is a fun place to go and watch plays. they have... 更多
I live here where it is located and I am so proud of it and our city for making it. If you want to camp here you should book at least 3-6 months in advance for the camping spots. It is a wonderful place to camp.. Esp if you have children of all ages. so much to do and it... 更多
This park is at it's peak to satisify at anytime! There is no parking or entrance fees. The only costs are your food, beverage and the rides. The rides are very cheaply priced and are a very good value. This is at least a 4-6 hour venture depending on your pace and if you were to partiicpate on every adventure... 更多
This was an amazing experience. DD and I are both obsessed with Wizard of Oz....you get to tour the farmhouse, meet Glinda and Dorothy and then walk the yellow brick road. There is a zoo and statues from other childhood storybook tales as well. Admission is free - there are a few rides that cost $2 each. A great day... 更多

A true testament to the pride that the volunteer organizations take in this northeast SD community you will rediscover the joys of your childhood as you view the wide variety of characters from the fairy tales of your youth.
