Stumbled upon this amazing structure that is tucked behind Dorney Park and set upon the creek as the original mill location.
While the museum was not open until spring, we enjoyed walking around the lovely grounds and peeking inside the windows. Can't wait to come back for the tour! Everything looks authentic and well grounded in local history!
Stopped by here yesterday only to find out its just opened weekends during the summer. To our surprise the owner was there & gave us a tour. Cool experience & it's awesome to see people with so much pride in their past.
My wife and I went to the mill for a special place as we love historical buildings and the place they have in our country's history. We were not disappointed. This is an excellent example of a by gone era that has not changed that much outside of using millstones.
This mill is in good condition and close to Dorney Park....
