Amazing place to bring young kids. The exhibits are interesting and the young kids have a great time learning about the animals. A pretty reasonable price entrance fee. Not the most spectaular Zoo we ever visited, but a great way to Spend a Saturday learning and entertain the family.
We have a family membership to the NC Zoo and go every chance we get. My kids are always happy to go see the animals and watch the feeding and demonstrations. I also love that with the membership allows free or reduced admission to many other zoos and aquariums all over the country. Every time we travel as a family... 更多
Let me start by saying I've been to several zoos around the world and the US. I think some of the negative reviews from folks must be either from older folks who can't walk well, or people who don't really know what to expect at a zoo. Yes, you have to walk. That's because the animals aren't in cages, they... 更多
I visited the Zoo with my grown daughter and my five year old grandson on 4/23/15 and I am very surprised at the negative reviews here. The Zoo was fantastic!! We drove over two hours to get there but it was worth the drive. The Zoo is divided into Africa and North America. The African side has lions, giraffes, elephants,... 更多
Loved all the animals, was a little disappointed that the Gorilla exhibit was under construction. Dress cool though if you go in warmer temps, very humid.
Me and my family had an amazing time at the zoo. I loved all of the animals and the events they had going on which was Earth Day.. It was a lot of walking and maps were somewhat confusing. My only complaint would be not having a tour guide to see all of the exhibits. I think that's something they... 更多
The location, hinterland and vegetation are the glorious contribution by nature . One feel awed by the overall blissful surroundings difficult to be summarized by words. The maintenance and various enclosures provide you fullest value for your time and money. I have a very high praise for averies enclosure asthetically and scientifically managed. I would love to have many more... 更多
This place is huge! I have been to many zoos in my sixty+ years, but I think this zoo is even larger than the San Diego Zoo. There is a tram that shuttles between the American section and the African section of the zoo, but to see the animals in their exhibits walking is a must. Giraffes, elephants, zebras, rhinos... 更多
