The Museum tells the history and lives of the Romanov family who were nobles that wielded a lot of power and eventually were to become Russian Tsars. The Museum is set over three levels. Was not busy when we went so had plenty of time to look round. The Museum is very close to Red Square.

Located near the Red square, this site is very easy to reach. And is worth visiting. Very good insight how Russian nobility lived. Staff could be better in terms of politeness.

We enjoyed this very much. There are three floors with fascinating rooms..many with mica windows and interesting interiors. To get to the top floor..the steps are rather steep, without a guard rail.

That is museum we found completely incidentally, roving in the streets around the Red Square. The museums is made up of the chambers ,belonging sometimes to the Romanov's boyars families. The history of this place goes back to the 16th and 17th centuries. It is here where the Romanovs family lived in the 16th century. Now You can see the... 更多

After touring the Kremlin and art museums, I assumed that the Romanovs all lived lives in glittering wealth and society. This small museum was a home of the Romanovs, and was not at all grand. I was almost shocked to see the small (but elegant) living quarters, and to learn that the women and young children lived in seclusion. Self... 更多

I was extremely excited to see the chambers, however, the staff were incredibly rude!! The treatment that we received from the staff was absolutely unbelievable! It was so not worth it!! Also, we were rushed the entire time, I'm not even sure why as we were the only ones there (2 people). If you do go here, be prepared to... 更多

I had a little difficulty finding this museum mostly because of all the construction going on around it and between it and Red Square. However it was totally worth hunting down. It is fairly small and would take little more than an hour to walk through. There are english information sheets in each room which make it easy to self... 更多
