Listed as a Unesco Heritage site, Humor Monastery is also a must see when visiting Bucovina. Make sure you climb the stairs of the tower, you'll get great views.
Humor Monastery: visit the "painted monasteries" as a child and then again with your new family as an adult: most Romanians will do this well worth peregrinage at least twice in their lives, tourist should do it as well.

We toured a number of the Bucovina monasteries after spending the night in Suceava. We were on our own, traveling by rental car. Humor monastery is easy to find and well signed. It's a beautiful, very quiet little place, not a lot of tourists. There was a small parking lot. But a couple of other cars had parked for free... 更多

We've all heard about this monastery and it's indeed exactly how it's being described: a quiet place, with a tremendous amount of history, nice people and quality souvenir shops.
Most of the paintings on the churches follow the same pattern in the location on the exterior walls of the church, but you really need to see several churches to appreciate this feature.
