Very nice and quiet local shrine, away from all the tourists. We practically had the whole place to ourselves, which made for great pictures.
However, we had a tough time finding the entrance of the shrine since its surrounded by apartment buildings - we fully walked around the entire block before we found it!

If you're lucky, you might see a traditional Japanese wedding ceremony, or blesing of a newborn child. As this shrine, is dedicated to the Sun Goddess, like Ise Jingu Shrine it displays architectural features that pre-date Chinese influences, for example the crossed roof beams on the main shrine building.
