A tree lined course that does have some challenges but no water hazards. Course was in good condition. Caddy service is compulsory but they are very good (never having had a caddy before). The clubs for hire are not the best with limited choice and no difference between men's/ladies. Well organised and nice bar/terrace to have a drink on, after... 更多
The oldest Golf Club in Thailand, with a traditional layout, is for me also one of the most beautiful ones: with all the old trees and difficulties of its own. This September I came a second time here to play it - on weekdays it is rather empty - and was impressed again. What many people may miss is shorter... 更多
Caddy was friendly!!! With that said... Motorbike traffic through the course. Packs of dogs everywhere. Dirt patches covering every fairway and green. Rental clubs from the '60s Unattended refreshment stations (big problem in the heat). Shell out the extra 200-300baht for anywhere else.
I have played this course a handfull of times and the main reason is the history and the easy and fast access from Hua Hin city. Compared to other Thailand courses its not as well maintained and too pricy. If you want to have the best deal you get half price after 15:00 on working days.
The course was a little dry as there has been no rain for months. We played all three nines with the BEST caddy crew ever. We laughed as we played, we took advise from them when we desired and we returned for another round a few days later. The course is challenging and greens we ok. A must play while... 更多
Unfortunately, most people who run golf courses think all golfers must be millionaires! This really is not the case, in the UK it is a working man's sport. Typically of most courses in Thailand, golf is expensive, this course at around £60 a round seemed to be the least expensive in the area. The course was in reasonable conditions, caddie... 更多
This was the first time I've played this course and as others have said it is a little ragged around the edges, but don't let that deter you from playing the oldest golf course in Thailand. My playing partner and I enjoyed our round, which was not expensive, our caddies were pretty good, and the food and drink afterwards was... 更多
Hua Hin golf course is the oldest in Thailand and in places looks it. Course is not irrigated and consequently course is like a British course in a hot dry summer, lots of run on the ball. Views are spectacular and the caddies clearly enjoy their job and try to ensure you enjoy the round. I am glad I played... 更多
This is Thailand's oldest golf club apparently so thought it would be nice to have a drink there and check out the first tee. Club house was open air, functional but certainly not elaborate. Great views though of the 1st and 18th. Bar staff and there were plenty of them seemed disinterested and not particularly forthcoming in the way of... 更多
