They tend to fruit bats which you can get up close and personal and you can see how coconuts can be used for everything. Very educational.
180 rupees to see some fruit bats and turtles and chickens cooped up in a tiny cage. Fruit bats fly everywhere here, tortoises can be seen all around the island at some restaurants/ hotels for free, and chickens shouldn't be caged up like that. Save your 180 rupees and go elsewhere.
Make sure you have the owner tour guide on arrival, who will talk you through the history of spices, all the trees in the yard, the history of everything is Praslin. Fruit bats and turtles on site to make friends with, coconut dehusking you can try your hands at!
It is not a museum, everything whats on offer, which is not much, you see in praslin anyway! He wanted 180rupees per person! Crazy man .. When negotiating the price he got very agressive!
