They do beautiful work and have many gorgeous pieces of all sizes and price ranges. Be sure to negotiate the best price. They ship back to the US for $50, and probably anywhere else you need it ro go, so you don't have to worry about protecting you purchase the rest of your trip.
See how the artistic inlays of the Taj Mahal were made. We visited this shop at the request of my travel mate who had been before. Lovely artistic things in marble and a talk all about the craft. But beware it is a hard sell. I was quite uncomfortable as they press you to buy all the time.
Our guide took us to this place, and we were impressed to see how they make all this beautiful art pieces. To much work, and unique in its kind. We even tried to work on it, but too hard for a proffession of 14 generations. worth visiting and buing something unique
Our guide took us to this place to see the way they inlay the marble and really is a wonderful place, not so sure about the prices though but I am going to find out and maybe I will buy something once I am back home: they deliver all over the world anyway. Wonderful show room with show stopping pieces
was taken here by our tour guide, like most tours in India, ended buying a marble plate with the taj mahal on it, this was very pretty and not badly priced, after negotiating of course.
This place has gorgeous pieces to offer and great stories to go with the pieces but I'm not sure how much I believe about the stories. If you're in to that kind of thing: marble and stones, you should stop by.
Very good to see how the work was done on the Taj,they have kept the skill going to this day.It takes ages for the craftsmen to make one flower, the Elephant I brought is only small but it took 46 day to make one flower and there are four flowers on the back of the Elephant
