Can spend about a quarter hour and capture the beautiful setting. One can carry some snacks to feed the monkeys here.
It is nice experience to have a boat ride in the lake. The falls are very low now & you have to walk a long way to get the view. Abbay fall & Iruppu falls better than the Pykara falls.
The Waterfall gives you a magical sound in your ears, away from usual traffic noise. And the lake, excellent scenes in and around plus the boating experience was awesome.
Note that on wards journey to Pykara, the lake comes after the falls. The falls is not very high. Water flowing through a rocky terrain is the falls. To see the falls, you need to take a walk of approximately 800m- 1km. After that continuing onwards journey, you reach the lake. There are lot of boating activity in the lake.... 更多
