Truck loads of students howling and cheering greeted us when we went in for a stroll. The view was great and quite captivating. One can wander around in the adjoining hills as well.
Average scenery. Not a must visit spot. But if you want to visit it, make sure you visit it early in the morning when crowd is less. Not sure why there is an entry fee as it is not worth it. Nothing much to write about it.
Shooting point is good only for short time visit, the entry fee is Rs.10. You have to climb the hill to see grass land and some pine trees. Then take some photos and come back, nothing much to say. Horse riding available. There are many beautiful places other than this you can spend in Ooty.
1. Not much crowd if you in morning hours 2. Best place to walk & enjoy wonderful weather throughout the day... 3. Avoid going during afternoon time...
Really nice lace for shooting some beautiful snaps..u will definitely find some nice backgrounds from hilltop for you clicks..if you are heading towards Mysore..then better to plan it while going to Mysore..
If you have ample time, then only visit the Shooting point. After visiting Doddabetta Peak, you will not find it more interesting. You will have to climb the hill only to find the scenic views, which are now very normal for you.
