Ahar is is approx 2 km's away from maain udaipur city and its consists royal cenotaphs. At one time its got more than 250 chhatries build over the period of 350 years. One good place to visit and see these excellent architectures. Place to take nice pictures.
Was all alone in this visual wonder. The place was deserted except the dogs and a guard. The gate was closed but not locked. There are several entrance points and worth exploring all. What looks like the main entrance leads to a well with Cenotaphs around. another gate in the wall leads into the complex. it is a great place... 更多
We were told this is the place where all rulers were buried. There are dozens of cenotaphs in all sizes. Great for wandering around and taking pictures. Unfortunately there is no information given and the place looks rather unmaintained and abandoned (though there were some men working there cleaning the marble of one of the structures). No entry fee -... 更多
The Cenotaphs were / are built in the memories of the Royal Kings of Mewar. For every king the Cenotaphs were built and at the entry of almost every cenotaph the Kings name is written. It is an amazing location and extremely picturesque. However the grounds are very poorly maintained, making it a very below average experience
People don't like to visit this place.. we could make that out because not a single person visited while we were there.. this place is not maintained.. even after that these structures are so beautiful.. i would recommend you to visit this place because you can see the change in architecture with each generation cenotaph..ITS A MUST VISIT IF YOU... 更多

Interestingly, some of the senior bureaucrats interred on the north side in a separate... 更多
