“A stop on the way to the jungle” The gate at jogi mahal is well made informative. We passed by Jogi Mahal on our way into the jungle. we did not enter but it seems to be a nice place to explore
The gate at jogi mahal is well made informative. We passed by Jogi Mahal on our way into the jungle. However we did not enter the building or see from inside. The board at the gate talks of the enormous tiger reserve and the treasures there in.
This jogi mahal is located beside a big lake with lush green landscape.the natural beauty is mesmerized me n my family.now it is said that the tiger of jogimahal area is the king of ranthambhore.the area is rich in flora and fauna.we visited three times this area and spotted the family of t19.
Beautiful place on a lake, with great history. closed for public. normally remain closed. It was a forest lodge for royal members but now in control of forest department and closed for any stay. It comes in news when late PM Rajeev Gandhi and Amitabh Bacchan stayed in Jogi Mahal with other family members.
Its inside the Sanctuary. One can have a view of the same while going up to Ganesh Temple. One can feel the beauty of the nature over there.
The pink red painted Haveli type look surrounded by a lovely lake is awe inspiring and at times a bit spooky too...if only there was a way to have a few rooms done up inside for wildlife viewing.
Jogi Mahal today is not meant for the common tourist. You can only see it from a distance from various locations. As a result the second Largest Banyan tree in India also becomes out of bounds from a up close view. Was able to visit it up close (Happens) and the place was under renovation.
