I love being at Khaba onboard TAURUS and it is an amazing experience because it offered me and my family to stay for two nights and that offers lovely village experience at dusk and dawn. This is an old fort just off the Jaisalmer-Sam road- the drive is nice as you see some small dunes on your way. This ancient fort is off the beaten track, but worth the trouble to find. Its perched on top of a hill, above a village that is mostly in ruins with goats wandering through it. Visit: December 2015 It's too tiny to be called a fort. Restructuring work is going on at the fort. It was in a much better shape than the previous year that I was there. The views from the fort are beautiful. Sunrise is breathtaking. The drive to this place is interesting. Try driving at night, it's quite eerie!
Not much of an attraction. Offers a decent view of the plains below. The fort is pretty much in ruins without much maintenance. Not too grand as well.
