i mostly went here when i was in varkala as its more hindu and temples and less touristic much more ethnic vibe here and just generally very colourful
I was confused when I came to this beach that it was Varkala beach and not some other beach. The Beach though is less crowded from the Varkala Beach, I was shocked by the parking amount for vehicles that is being looted here.(Rs. 50/- for 2 hours). From the cliff-tops it looks a nice large sandy beach, but after the climb down and a walk along the beach, we were disappointed. It was a bit tacky. Although we didn't get to visit the town beach a little further south, it certainly looked a nicer one and about 150-200 Rupees tuk-tuk to take you there
One of the best beaches we have visited in recent times. The Papasnanam beach in Verkala is spectacular, less crowded and quite clean. The water here is believed to have healing powers and washes your sin and cleanse your soul.
