The Vypeen beach is less explored and hence it is perhaps one of the most cleanest beaches in Kerala. try the seafood cuisine. Worth the experience..!! Try catching sunrise here!!..Great drive it is!!
For a decent afternoon out, take the fery from Fort Kochin (costs 3 rupees each way!!!). Then take a tuc tuc to the lighthouse (costs 40 rupees, and has good views).Tuc tuc costs 100 rupees.....ask them to go 800m further on, for a decent, deserted sandy beach.
