Met some lovely people on the way up and down. #1 make sure you have plenty of with you, as you will see many people who requires water and last thing you want is not help or run out of water yourself. I drank bottles up and down. Good luck and hope you enjoy it much as i did.
Great place. Lot of Ashrams at the base of the mountain. Some say this mountain is even older than the Himalaya. It is quiet and with lot of options to eat. The locations to stay around this place are not great, but most of the travellers just stay one night before/after the climb.
Giranrji is amongst the highest mountain peaks to pray for Jains and further up to the Shiv mandir. The intricate architectural detail provide for a visual setting with the smoky white clouds serving as a perfect backdrop. Must visit place in Junagadh.
