Good park to go for a stroll. But the types of plants and the way it is all laid out is very very average. They shouldn't charge as much as they do, not at all. Maybe it was because I was American though. Felt like they put up a couple signs and.... thats all.... They did next to nothing to... 更多
This place is close to tela like 10 minutes the service is ok, they have tour guides for extra price they explain the history and names and types of trees and plants, it is good to walk around the flagstone sidewalks and learn about the history, you can try the fruits from the trees, we went in June and there was... 更多
We enjoyed a couple hours of wandering the garden paths, watching the busy ants at work, sight seeing for birds. We actually did get to see a few monkeys in the trees, which everyone else that we have talked to hasn't seen so we felt very lucky. It would be better to have a guide to get the full background... 更多
The garden is probably better when it's blooming season but it was still interesting. You need a guide though to really understand what you are seeing - there is one woman who is learning English and did a fantastic job considering we were here very first English tour. We could tell after a few more tours her confidence and vocabulary... 更多
Very nice place. Definitely worth checking out. I kind of left the pack and went out on my own checking it out. Met a super nice guy who gave me a fantastic tour, and he gave me some fruit that I I'd never before seen… Interesting stuff.
Located very close to the town of Tela. We drove to Lancetilla. There is an unpaved road from the park entrance to the visitors center. There is an entry fee that you pay at the park entrance. You have the option of hiring a guide at the visitor center. Its not necessary. The trees have color coded name plaques- fruit,... 更多
It's a very green and peaceful garden. We opted not to take the guide and just walk on our own, I'd recommend - Take The Guide (it's only $5 if I remember correctly). We overheard one of the guides with another group; sounded like interesting info & facts. It's a nice visit while in Tela.
We arrived at the entrance by taxi, where we we're greeted by a very helpful woman and charged a very reasonable 130L for two (careful, as none resident foreigners you wil pay more - 8$ per person). You have to walk from the entrance a good four kilometres to the actual visitor centre and the main parts of the park.... 更多
