The Asbury Board walk was absolutely amazing we arrived for our stay at 8pm on a wednesday night, we were worried that we missed the opportunity to enjoy our first night at the shore being that we arrived so late. We were pleasantly surprised that the boardwalk was still filled with so much life. From the music resonating from the... 更多
After visiting some of the larger beach towns on the Jersey shore, I was surprised at how small the boardwalk was. Offerings are limited but the prices aren't unreasonable. Very crowded on the weekends but crowds are much lighter during the week. Has a very "New York City" feel.
I visited it twice this month and enjoyed the boardwalk and area very much. The boardwalk has several places to dine. Casual and more upscale. There are the usual food stands that all looked good. Public bathrooms were clean. Boardwalk was busy but not overcrowded like I have experienced in other towns. The shops were charming. There is an arcade,mini... 更多
asbury boardwalk is pretty cool, lots of restaurants, bars, ice cream, ices, and other stuff. there is a mini water park for kids (we don't have little ones anymore), miniature golf. its pretty easy to walk each end, about 10 to 15 minutes each way. interesting street performers, etc.. also.
The Asbury Park boardwalk is quite small and there aren't many activities other than eating but the places that are there are really fun. Some great bars and the beach is pretty nice, gets a little crowded. Some of the people from the nearby town crowd the beach and are a little loud/annoying but avoidable. Overall, it's a relaxing and... 更多
You have the beach, the boards, great places to eat, Convention Hall, bars & clubs, and iconic rock & roll! It's been that way for decades. Asbury Park managed a great turn around years ago. Enjoyable things keep happening all year round. Have a great time! Don't forget to visit the other three seasons too. Cheers!!! ----- Ken
Kind of a quaint boardwalk: enough of the tacky things you want a boardwalk to have for it to work, but they're not overwhelming and there's a few upscale restaurants and stores too. And I love the historical structures (the carousel pavillion, paramount theatre, etc.)...even though still being restored.
We have been going to this general area of the Shore for many years. We have seen many ups and downs due to the storm damage and other factors. Asbury Park is at the north end of about 6 miles of almost continuous boardwalk through seven towns each with totally different character. Right now this one is in excellent shape... 更多
As a boardwalk fan, I brought the kids here while touring up & down the shore. The boardwalk here is not as populated with shops as some of the others, but it has a nice old-timey feel to it. A great location to concentrate on the beach rather than the 'hubbub' - worth visiting!
If you're looking for amusements, you're not going to find them here. In fact, aside from a small miniature golf course and the Silverball Pinball Museum (arcade), you're not going to find much that reminds you of the boardwalks in places like Wildwood, Ocean City or Seaside Heights. There are a few stands that sell things like ice cream but... 更多
