This museum is right in front of the San Pedro Claver church. In the plaza in front are a series of metal sculptures of life in and around Cartagena. The museum is interesting too, the building is classic old brick construction and the art is pretty neat. The museum is two stories, a wheelchair bound person could easily see the... 更多
We never did get inside the museum--intended to return but never got around to it. We did, however, browse the small but excellent museum store that you can enter from the sidewalk and I am reviewing it for shoppers who may be tired of the ethnic and/or tacky items peddled in most tourist shops. When it time to make renovation in a museum and you have half of your space why paid a full price for a first level that take you less time to visit? The painting, sculpture and bronze were very nice. Some painting need to take more care.
this was the best museum we visited there were lots of fine works of art in various media and fabulous sculptures. they were getting prepared for a new exhibit so there were some area closed. its a large museum for the area....two floors

I would not put this on the list of fantastic art museums of the world, but considering the very modest admission price (~$3 USD), it's a worthwhile use of time while in Cartagena for a few days. The museum has two floors and about 6-7 galleries. It can easily be experienced in 30-45 minutes. It has some interesting works by... 更多
If you're a fan of modern art, you'll want to make you time for this little gem in a beautiful plaza setting in the Old City. It's small, but nicely laid out and contains some compelling work IMBO (it's not SAN Francisco or New York or Paris, it's Cartagena). And the price of 8,000 pesos (less than $3) won't bust... 更多

Situated in a beautiful building in the heart of the old town it has a very meagre art collection, mainly consisting of second rate local artists, that hardly... 更多
