This lake sits just below the skyscrapers and is extremely serene. All you can hear is the occasional duck or bird, and is far enough away from backpackers and hikers so that it truly feels isolated.

By boat or hiking the views across Lago Nordenskjold are spectacular. When it's stormy it reminds you to be humble in the face of Mother Nature's power, in the sun it reminds you to be grateful for her beauty.
Title says it all, just do the W hike, and this is all a part of it. One of the best hikes I've ever done. So beautiful!

Lago Nordenskjold is a lake located in the Torres Del Paine national park. It was named after it's founder, a Swede by the name of Otto Nordenskiöld. This is the best spot to view the "horns" and the amazing green and blue hues of the water below them. Conveniently located not too far from much of the park's lodgings. Truly feels like a place from another world.
A good 40 minute hike from Explora Lodge, Lake Nordenskjold is connected to Lake Pehoe by the Salto Grande (Great Fall).
