Free, nice and relaxing place, patrimonially protected and beautiful, all the houses and architecture shows an example of the care about pieces of history that represented the society centuries ago. Many restaurants for the visitors waiting for a nice afternoon.
It's hard to rate this street. The end near the main square is definitely very good with several nice restaurants and pathways complete etc. The other end near the beach and the middle section is just a long footpath construction zone and lots of closed restaurants, bars and buildings. okay i have been to iquique. banquedano st and the plaze are it. museum on banquedano is good. after this which is 1/2 a day thats it. walk along the beach and you are done.
Baquedano is a pedestrian street lined with cafes, restaurants, and little shops or artists with hand made knick-knacks.
