Antonio is the best guide in Potosi and a beautiful person! Book your tour with them! The mines visit is an incredible experience that you will never forget. It is a hard tour to do both physically and emotionally specially with Antonio showing you the human aspect of this tour. It is extraordinarily humbling to see the way the work... 更多
I visited the mine with Antonio, he is a former miner. He is excellent. He knows many things about the mines (and traditional culture) and respect to the mines and all miners. He tried his best to let us know more about the history and the situation. He has great enthusiasm and patience. Although some of the people in my... 更多
Amazing experience through the mines. We booked our trip through our hostel Casa Blanca. The guide was English fluent and very funny. Do not expect a sanitised tourist experience; it's a proper mine with people working and health and safety does not seem to be a priority. Probably not for the very unfit (lots of climbing and scrambling) or the... 更多
Visiting the mine is an intense experience. As a tourist traveling into someone's extremely difficult working conditions, I searched for a company that both understood the safety issues as well as the respect for the work and the workers. I highly encourage you to leave your hostel connector tours and set up a tour with Greengo tours. Greengo tours is... 更多
This is an incredible experience that you will not forget. It is a hard tour to do both physically and emotionally (depending on where the guide takes you). Physically, the spaces are cramped, breathing is hard, temperature changes drastically, and sometimes includes a good deal of climbing/crawling. Emotionally, it is extraordinarily humbling to see the way the miners work inside... 更多
I arrived Potosi late around 7pm and found them still opened. The manager and also guide Antonio explained to me details of the tour and I ended up with a good price. His wife Vicky even invited me for breakfast. After breakfast, the other tourists that were supposed to join the group didn't show up (heard that they were drunk,... 更多
A group of 10 of us booked to visit the mines and all had a great time! We started by going to buy some 'gifts' for the miners, coca leaves, dynamite (yes real dynamite!) and fizzy drinks for the miners. The dynamite was 25 soles (£2.50) and a bottle of pop coca leaves for 20 soles (£2). We were really... 更多
Every sunday the miners get drunk sooo almost no miners at work monday morning! Ask the tour operator which mine you will be visiting. If its candelario then you have a good chance you will be with many groups at the same time at the same place.....
Went with Ronald of koala tours. Fantastic experience in real working mine. Would go with this guy's again. No hard sell and fair price. Well looked after in mine which is a not confortable place to be! Not normal a tour sort of guy but this is not your average tourist fare!
very narrow, lots of climbing, stooping, running out of the way of carts, dust, dust, more dust. Once was enough but i am glad i did it
