A good place to visit in the weekend, just 17 km away from Plovdiv. The re is a good parking lot next to the attraction, so no walk is required. It's located on a hill and you have a great view on Asenovgrad and the river.

Most people arrive here to visit Asen Fortess, but the real jewel is this little Church clinging to the rock: perfectly maintained and conserved
Hired a taxi for the day to see various sights outside of Plovdiv. The fortress offers good views and has interesting chapels. If you have mobility problems this is not set up for you.
