The prettiest and most popular public park in Novi Sad, which features more than 250 plant species, is located in the very city center. The park features several very rare species of trees - hazelnut, plane trees, birch trees, silver linden trees, chestnut, poplars, fir trees, cypress, thuja, pine, etc.
A well-kept park so close to all the shops, cafes, and restaurants of city centre. A great place to rest your feet and enjoy one of the many shaded benches.
This park has nice green areas , being the Exit festival all birds have been moved from the park , and body's lying around on the grass recovering from the night before . Not much else to see lots of people sitting on the benches , taking in the summer sunshine
Our family of 5 visited Danube Park in June 2016. The park itself is not very big but easily walkable. The pond area seemed poorly maintained and I wish the playground had some better equipment. This is definitely not a priority if you are visiting Novi Sad.
This is a pleasant park between the city’s old centre and the River Danube. There are plenty benches on which to sit for a rest or from which to watch people pass by. There are ponds. It's a really nice getaway from the crowd and the streets. We had a lovely time just sitting on a bench and watching people pass by, walking their dogs, chatting, riding rollerblades or bikes, and just keeping it cool. I would recommend it as a break from sightseeing and a good spot for relaxing.
