Unless you're a die hard fan the only positive thing about this place is the air con on the first floor. Not worth the effort even if you have a dubrovnik card.
Poor thought out exhibition that honors the 16th century Dubrovnik playwright. It was not his old house, just contains mainly modern exhibits. Nothing of interest for us and certainly not worth paying to see.
Nothing logical about the museum/house. Dominated by modern art displays and no real info about the playwright at all. And the lady front of house accosted us trying to sell CDs and maps. We got out as quickly as possible. Thank goodness it was part of the DB card and we did't have to pay. Just go and have a... 更多
I only went because of the Dubrovnik Card and didn't feel I learned much about anything there. Theres a little history of this man who was the first Renaissance playwrite of Ragusan Republic, but unless you know him, there isn't much to see.
We visited today and were pleased that the attraction was set out in a logical way with background info on ground floor and more detail in upper floors. The artwork on first 2 floors was great but did not make up for the lack of real detail of the the link of this Poet to the building aside from some... 更多
I have to admit not knowing who Marin Drzic was, but we had this visit included in the Dubrovnik card, so we went anyway. I learned some things about him, but I felt the museum was directed more for those who already knew. So I would say not for everyone.
As part of our Dubrovnik Tourist card we visited as the building looked interesting. Shame about the inside. Marin Drzic might mean something to Croatians but I think they were trying to 'big him up'. Without the free entry we would have been 'really' disappointed with the two small floors of the exhibition. Unless you have a card don't bother
We only visited here as it was included on the Dubrovnik card, we had no idea who Marin Drzic was but soon worked out he was the croatian Shakespeare and it was interesting to see some of the parallels between them however the interest was limited and we only spent 15-20 minutes here as the display only covers 2 floors... 更多
We had no idea who Marin Drzic was, apart from being labelled as the Croatian Shakespeare. We only visited as the entrance was included on the Dubrovnik card but it was probably the worst "attraction" we saw on our trip, there was hardly anything on display for a museum and it took less than 5 minutes to see everything. Give... 更多
We "visited" this museum with our Dubrovnik Card. Upon entering the museum there was a shift at the desk. 1 minute later the "lady" at the desk started a conversation on the phone and very soon she started shouting and hitting the desk in anger. 10 to 15 minutes later we left the building as we were not able to... 更多
