I had a beautiful day roaming about the old convent. It's peaceful, full of history and a nice oasis in the middle of a busy city. I definitely recommend this if you like to freely poke around old buildings.
The Santa Clara Convent ruins and the San Francisco Cathedral are well worth a visit for he beautiful architecture that was and some of it still is. There is a chocolate shop there that sells locally made candies that we wish we could go back to and buy some more.
Went here for a wedding. It was spectacular. The ceremony was where the chapel used to be and the cocktail hour was in the pation around the fountain. Absolutely beautiful.
Not much to do, but beautiful pictures and lots of history.
