I've been to LaSalette many times over the years. It's a Catholic Shrine with various praying stations and also has buildings with food drinks and items for sale. There is plenty of parking for cars and motor coaches. Traffic can be heavy during peak times - it starts around 5PM.
The gift shop is really great and I can always find a gift at a reasonable price. I've been going to La Salette for the Christmas light shows and it's still as beautiful as ever. It's a great free tradition for families and it's free. They do accept donations and sell hot chocolate.
We went for the carnival small but fun rides games etc.The highlight for me was the farm animals lots of babies. Also the grounds themselves are very nice for walking around.I like the pond and there were LOTS of fish in it.Also they have a religious gift shop i enjoy browsing in which is open year round.
