Very nice park off 50 right before the Bay Bridge , many signs posted as far as what exit to take. Terrific views of the Bay Bridge and the Chesapeake Bay with scattered lighthouses in the distance in the middle of the bay itself. The beach area itself is sort of dull, but still a nice place to come to... 更多
A great spot that provides the single best photo opportunity of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Quiet off-season, it can get very crowded doing the Summer.
We went during the off season (no way we were getting in the water in February!) but the whole area was just beautiful. We plan on coming back closer to summer so we can rent a rowboat and go out on the water, maybe even go fishing.
Took my granddaughters there over a weekend in May, we had a wonderful time, the water was not that deep that the 9 yr. old could not swim. No waves and they just loved that. Cant wait to visit again this summer.
Lots of picnic areas with tables and grills, even beachside! Beach facing the Bay Bridge makes for great photos, and there are smaller and more private beaches on the left side of the park. There is also an area where you can launch your boat, even large boats, and head straight out to the Chesapeake Bay. We go fishing and... 更多
Our visit to Annapolis was brief (only a day) and so many people recommended that we see the Lights on the Bay. After dinner last night we opted to see the Christmas spectacular and it did not disappoint. What an incredible event which must take hundreds of man-power hours to prepare. The $15 a car scenic drive along the shore... 更多
Sandy point park is a great place for fishing. you can catch stripe bass of all sizes. This park has a lot to offer. You can get in the water for swimming in the summer time and become a polar bear in the fall. Overall it is a good place to have a picnic with friends and family.
This is a great local option for a beach. It costs $5 per car to get in (changes per season) but you have so many options for things to do. The beach area is very large, lots of sand, great for a picnic, and sunning, there is a roped off area for swimming, and you can fish. If you have... 更多
The Lights on the Bay Christmas spectacular is a must see. If you approach from the Eastern shore the lights are breathtaking. It cost $15 per car to enter the park. Discounts of $2 are available at some places.
As the site for this years MD Seafood Fest, we finally got a chance to visit this beach that we've passed over a hundred times on the Bay Bridge while driving to/from the coastal beaches for the summer. We were there the 2nd weekend in September so it's still beach weather but surprisingly there weren't that many people on the... 更多
