My boyfriend and I went to see the Messiah at St. Anne's, and it was beautiful! Wonderful music, and the building itself is absolutely gorgeous; apparently some of the floorboards are the original, from the 17th century, which is very cool.
What a beautiful building on a beautiful day! Definitely make a stopover here to see it and read about the history. It's on a beautiful green space in the center of town.
In the midst of an historic city. A must see on a tour of the city. Visit the grave yard around the church, sit in the pews. A part of the history of our country.
St. Anne's was the first evangelical church in the area and the only one allowed at the time of conception. While I am not evangelical Christian, I appreciate the history, concept and architecture.
The history of St. Anne's Church is amazing. And, there are about 10 grave sites on the side lawn of the church, which date back to the 1600s! Totally amazing!!! Don't miss touring this church and it's grounds on your next trip to Annapolis!
A gem of a church in the heart of historic Annapolis. The ceiling is a superb example of fan vaulting combined with night sky painting.
With some kids it is a quick walk through. They loved to see the figures on the stained glass windows. Nice stone and wood works inside.
