The French embassy overlooks this monument to French influence in the area. There is a great promenade that goes from here back into the old town. It has good views and there are plenty of native traders, complete with native costumes selling stuff here. It was a good spot to unwind and chill out.

The monument is at the point where water is on two sides. Offers refreshing breezes and a nice view. The French Embassy is nearby (vive la France!) and the area is well maintained and safe. Several vendors selling trinkets and knick-knacks.

Definitely one place you want to visit in Casco Viejo. In this area it is pretty safe. Also you have places to buy souvenirs and a cool drink. You see all of Panama, the skyline and The Bridge of The Americas here. Once in a while you can find a guy here who for a few dollars will talk about... 更多
