Even if you are not a religiousperson, this place has something special. You can feel the spirit of Monseñor Romero and what this place mean to Salvadorean people and its history. Not visiting this place make meaningless your stay in El Salvador.
One of my favorite places in El Salvador. I love the chapel. Very beautiful in a simple way and the spirit of Archbishop Romero is still present. The museum in his living quarters is also very interesting. Again simple yet moving.
We went here as part of a trip specifically to lean more about the archbishop. The sisters have done nice job in keeping the property peaceful and giving the visitor a real sense of how Oscar Romero lived. The chapel was moving. Really a must see.
