Breathtaking views and some stunning walks to see mountain lakes, waterfalls and fresh air. This was a great experience and would thoroughly recommend anyone visting Bansko to go up the mountains. Snow expected anytime so you had better hurry.
The Pirin Mountains are very nice, although steep, with beautiful landscapes and many lakes. For the ones who made the Retezat mountains in Romania - they look similar, but Pirin are steeper and the altitude is higher. The Vihren Peak (2914m) looks very unapproachable, but in fact is ok, not so technical as it looks like. And the Koncheto Ridge... 更多

And still...there are plenty of nests of storks on the way, very 'crowded'..even if the nests are huge, the 4 inhabitants show you clearly that there is not enough room for everybody :) We started our beautiful drive in Simitli, some 17 km south of Blagoevgrad. Apex Vihren which is the second highest apex in Bulgariа, the Baikushev's pine, a tree 1300 years old, are the most remarkable landmarks in this park for me.
