This museum has an amazing collection of the religious art. But the best part of the visit is the building that permits to see a great colonial house from that time. Highly recommend it. make sure you buy a so called a Religious Ticket that includes: The cathedral, San Blas, and the Museum. The ticket is valide for 30 days.
Ok most of the art is Religious but it is very interesting and at a ticket price of 30 Soles this ticket also covers the main cathedral, the San Blas Church and the San Cristobal Church. My friend and I popped into the Museum of Religious Art, and we did not stay very long. I think I may be spoiled by the museums in NYC and DC, and I do not want to be too critical, but I do not think it is a must see museum.
The art is nice, but there are no plaques/descriptions of it at all. This makes the attraction much less attractive, and the museum is quite small to begin with. It costs 5 soles for students about 10 for others. The courtyard in the center is nice, but many other museums have much more to offer for a better price. Unless... 更多
