This is a beautiful and well preserved mansion, with unique pieces of furniture, work of art and even very important documents. Quite unique for those who admire it. On the other hand, for those who're trying to visit cultural places in Arequipa without, that level of Knowledge, it would might be disappointing because, it's rather small, and if you're not... 更多
My friend and I made a brief stop at this lovely house in our way to the airport. The house was redone after the last earthquake and is filled with colonial furniture and art it was a lovely place without any large groups. So ideal in my opinion.
This is just a nice little house museum with lots of religious art. It's only 5 soles, conveniently located, and allows photos, so it's certainly worth at least a brief stop. The house is beautiful. I wish there were a bit more explanation of some of the art in particular. The money collection at the end was fantastic and had... 更多
It's a lovely building with some nice furniture and it is quite interesting, but if you only have a limited time in Arequipa, which most people seem to, you won't be missing too much if you give this a miss. I can't remember what the entrance fee was but think it was around S/15 which is pretty reasonable, but I... 更多
You will be one of the very few tourists in this facility and most likely you will have the whole place to yourself. The building is very comfortable in its layout. There is a lot to see, lovely furniture, and interesting artwork, mostly religious in nature and in varied quality, but also some maps and objects of daily use. This... 更多
This place might be a bit polarising for people - I can imagine really liking it for the architecture and furniture (like I did) and maybe the art (which I didn't), or you might find it boring and uninteresting. I love the design of the building around the central courtyard, the thick walls and high ceilings, the timber floors etc.... 更多
We sneaked in to Casa Moral right before closing to check out the great furniture and architecture. We enjoyed being able to lead ourselves on a self-guided tour to learn more about Arequipa's history and see the historical artifacts. Great to see inside this colonial home, and to check out the Peruvian currency exhibition.
not a must see in arequipa, yet an interesting add-on to other museum visits. entry fee is nominal. an easy walk from the plaza
Casa Moral is a beautiful colonial home in the historic city centre of Arequipa. It was interesting to get a chance to see what was behind one of the many beautiful facades lining the city streets. Inside, there isn’t a ton of information describing the house/history/décor, but we enjoyed wandering through the rooms and courtyard.
