From fancy hotel fine dining to hotdogs and classical chilean sandwiches. Eight blocks crowded with ethnic, international and franchised restaurants. Bakeries, ice cream parlors and coffee shops. Mostly good food and service. Very crowded during lunchtime for the district is filled with very fancy office buildings and reservation recommended for dinner. Sidewalk seating is always fun.
A very nice avenue in the modern part of Santiago in the neighborhood of `Los Condes`. Very upscale and very chic people. Many beautiful residential buildings, houses and shops ,also some nice cafes such as "Cafetaria Torres" where you can have the best empanadas in Santiago. Very safe to walk around.

I don't think so, but there are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and a couple of shops that are interesting.
During the day is a busy office area (suits, ties and high heels running around) and will be boring, but at evening these same people get for drinks and meals.
