We spent 2 hours walking around this park. It was very relaxing, but we were a bit disappointed. We thought there would be flowers, but the park only has trees from around the world.
A small botanic garden with mature trees and shrubs around a central lawned area. There is a path that goes around the outside but you only occasionally get to see the river. Colours can be nice.

Easy access is the only thing that would bring you here. The labeling is very basic (e.g. only the name of the tree or plant) or the region (e.g. northern hemisphere). The botanical garden is a place for a nice, relaxing walk and to take really nice pictures. I think this kind of attraction is aimed at travelers that enjoy the -very- green landscape of the south of Chile and do not have the time to take a long hiking trip.
