Found this by chance and am so glad I did, it's breathtakingly beautiful and the carvings and depictions are outstanding , even to the sacred pool still being there. Just down from the Rasmussen, it's definitely worth a visit
This is a upper temple, and not one normally visited on tourist routes. Much of the outlying complex is gone, but there is a well preserved central area, with great carved scenes, columns and shrines. The perimeter wall also has a great walk around the top. It is a little off the course of the regular tour, but if you get a chance you must visit. Sit between the huge columns and imagine how marvelous life was in the ancient world.
If you have some extra time, this is a pleasant oasis but it is relatively sparse and a little off the beaten tourist track.

The temple is a nice size, with a lot... 更多
