At first we sort of wanted to pass on this stop but glad we did not. Nice concept to collect trees from the world and plant here. Well maintained and very clean. Very beautiful scenery. Worth the time to visit here.
A visit to this island was included on our cruise itinerary. We arrived in a motor boat, easily accessible, and visited General's Kitchener's house turned into a small museum housing local flora, then strolled around the delightful walkways, welcoming the shade.

I had a wonderful afternoon here among the trees and plants on this lovely island garden . The man who made this had vision . To sit in the shade and enjoy plant life in Egypt is a must
This was a lovely visit as we took a boat to the island and had an excellent guide called Araby who was so knowledgable about all the flowers and trees. Also known as El Nabatat's Island, this Island is only accessible via boat. The island itself has a relaxing atmosphere and features a variety of flora from all over the world. At the southern end of the island, visitors are greeted with a nice view of Aga Khan's Mausoleum. The island has two cafes.
