I am an agronomist and enjoyed my visit. Can't imagine kids enjoying the place; it's out of date. The collection is very precious and deserves to be preserved.
The AM is the closest you can get to a 'natural history' museum in Egypt... Like many attractions in Egypt, the building and surroundings are good to be a museum by themselves. The AM is a great place to learn about Egyptian civilization and culture; old and new.. However years of low budget maintenance left it in poor condition. So... 更多
I visited on a saturday around 11 after buying a ticket (5) and a phototicket (10) at the 2nd gate, I visited the building on the right- where chinese art and diplomatic gifts are on display. The Agricultural Museum is a time capsule from 1930: a dusty old gem filled with hundreds of stuffed animals, a wonderful old butterfly collection, educational exhibits on agricultural technologies of the 1930's, mannequins in tribal costume, models of the innards of farm animals.
