This was the worse thing we did in Vanuatu. It was a complete waste of money - 30,000 VAT which is about $35. There were 11 normal turtles, apparently 1 x 100 year old turtle (which we did not see) there were about 100 tiny baby 1 month old turtles. You could not swim with the turtles as the water... 更多
Unfortunately, we were caught in a weak moment by a tout in town and schmoozed into doing this "tour" (read: being driven out - a long way out - and back) to a place where we were assured we'd be able to see turtles in their natural habitat. We were absolutely horrified and really quite upset by the conditions (as... 更多
I believe this attraction is reviewed under both this heading and Blue Lagoon aquarium. It should not be confused with the East Coast of Efate swimming lagoons - completely different spot. We paid 4,200VTV for admission plus lunch for two adults (1,700VTV) each, a seven year old (800VTV) and a three year old (free). Soft drinks were 200VTV each. The... 更多
My husband and I went here two weeks ago it was a great place to visit. There were lots of turtles to see and swim with ranging from baby to adult ones part of our tour was to have a lovely lunch which was cooked for us and it was great. The fruit salad was to die for.
This was a must to see in Vanuatu. You get to hold and touch baby turtles and then there is several large turtles you can get in the water with and feed and touch. Great for adults and kids.
We were taken here by our private tour guide. I should have turned around and walked back out. I was devastated to walk in and find baby turtles swimming around in a crowded concrete trough, with people picking them up and dropping them back into the water willy nilly. No supervision by the operators. Then we spied the 2 large... 更多
We visited Bluewater after our swim at the blue lagoon. It was wonderful to see the turtles up close though it was sad to see them in a small lagoon enclosure. We had a nice BBq lunch included with our visit.
I believe this is now called Crystal Blue Lagoon or swim with turtles but if you are trying to support turtle conservation I would encourage you to research further and visit Moso Island/Tranquillity Island Resort. I wish we had done the Coongoola Day Cruise which visits there. I admit I was delighted to hold a baby turtle and feed the... 更多
I had a wonderful experience at Blue Water...I met two locals John and Ester..John played guitar and sang..He borrowed the Church Pastor's guitar and I taught him some songs...We had a wonderful time with the locals and swam in Blue Water every day... I am visiting again this year with my Choir (Lismore Winsome Community Choir) and I hope to... 更多
