Nice historical building near the water, you only need an hour or two as it's quite small, but there is a shop and a cafe if you want to chill out for a bit longer. well worth it, cheap entry.
In this fort is also the museum of history of Suriname. And every now and then there is an extra exhibit. On the sundays there is a free tour around 10.30, with very knowledgeable guides. (You only pay for the admission).
