Waterfall 157 meters high
It is a natural waterfall , to go to it should go around an hour from the city of Bogota , it has a Mirardor which is a historic hotel located in remodeling, and from the viewpoint 's fall looks Water. This is a walk to get there and back
It's a magnificent waterfall during rain season. But the place as a destination is disappointing. There is barely any room to park or seat. Its very close to bogota so the time invested is not too much, anyhow try not to make it an only destination. If you can have it as a bonus of your day you'll be happy.... 更多
Located about hour and a half southeast of the city, this natural wonder gives you a break from Bogota's stressful lifestyle! Get away from the "trancones" (traffic jams) and enjoy this simple, but welcoming landmark...Enjoy!
This place is sad. I remember the amazing tales that surround this area and the waterfall itself, but all of that is destroyed in seconds when you stand there and smell how filthy the Bogota river is. If my memory serves me well this is one of the most contaminated rivers in the whole world! It is so sad that... 更多
The ride from Bogota to Salto included beautiful scenery along windy mountain roads. The waterfall is okay, but nothing great. Sad to see such polluted water in such a beautiful country.
I have no idea. It took us 2 hours to get from the main bus station but only 2000 pesos each so it had that in its favour! The bus man nudged us we were there and when we got off the buss the falls were right there by the road - you don't need to walk anywhere. The view... 更多
Gorgeous waterfall from a distance. The title of my review refers to the falls being mostly runoff from Bogota The museum is boring and mostly is showing us information about french botanists from the 1800's. If this is your thing, then you might love it. I did find it interesting but wanted to learn more about the falls, the history... 更多
Visited el Salto de Tequendama on a Thursday in the late morning. The drive from el Norte (Santa Ana) was quite long because of the usual Bogotá traffic. Once you leave Soacha, the drive to el Salto is not bad. Consider that the falls are pretty nice but remember that this is the Bogotá river, sadly, one of the most... 更多
The waterfall is truly beautiful. It was a pretty easy trip in car from Bogota but we left very early to avoid traffic. When we arrived we parked and took a short tour of the hotel for 4000 pesos, which included a museum exhibit and a balcony with a view of the falls. Outside we had breakfast at a roadside... 更多
