This is one of the beaches located along the street from the Old Jaffa. It is a nice place, the sand is gold and the beach is wide. There are some beach bars too. Unfortunately there is a crowded street just behind the beach and the city, so it is not for people who like the nature and silence.
Talk about getting an eyeful. Babes everywhere. ok, families and all are welcome, but wow. No matter what the age, girls are in bikinis. Yikes! A great beach with sun chairs and umbrellas etc available for rent. There are life guards on duty at specified times allowing for swimming in certain areas. Waves can get big here though, attracting surfers.
This is a child safe beach. The breakwater system eliminates breakers. The sand is fine and shelves gradually. The water is warm and there are no treacherous currents. Centrally located. Clean and well maitained beach. Plenty of umbrella and lounge chairs for rent. The water is warm and clear. The waves are very calm, its perfect for swimming especially during the hot summer days. It does get very crowded on Friday and Saturday. Get there early to secure your spot. Lots of cafes, restaurants nearby.
oh my Gosh what an horrible experience it was being there. we were there in mid summer and the shoreline was packed with young Israelis that made soooo much noise you would not even imagine. if you are on vacation and you want some peace and quite this is NOT the place. they kept on playing this racket ball game... 更多
