This is a very manageable museum - will take about 2 hours to go all the way through. Make sure you see the video introducing the history of the Hagannah. You can skip the video on the 4th floor, a little campy.
Worth a visit if your are in the area...but the Palmach Museum in Ramat Aviv does s much better job of telling this story.
First to enter this museum you need to show your passport and your visa. The visit is very interesting even if you know the history of the region and Israel. It worth it. You can buy a ticket for this museum and Hetzel one which is about 20 minutes walking.
We learned so much while here, although we had to move through quickly; as we were on a tour. So much that I had no idea of before and it was all presented in a very interesting and easy to absorb way!
Watching the introductory film was highly worthwhile, and put a lot of the subsequent exhibits in perspective.
This small museum is situated in a heritage building on lovely Rothschild Boulevard. It is accessible and full of interesting exhibits.
