I was lucky enough to be a very last minute addition to the market tour with Inbal! So much fun and such delicious food - I really enjoyed the explanations and hearing the stories behind the market vendors.I foolishly ate breakfast before the tour, I'd advise you not too - go hungry!!
We spent an enjoyable and educational evening with Merav doing the Shuk and Cook. First we shopped in the Carmel market for ingredients, stopping also at a wonderful hummus place to taste the most incredible hummus! Then to Inbal’s apartment, where Merav walked us through a feast of 6 dishes … shakshuka, roasted cauliflower, salad, sabich sliders, salmon marinated in... 更多
We were lucky to be able to join a group tour which made the tour much more reasonable and fun. Inbal Baum, the owner and tour guide, is an enterprising and delightful young lady and was a pleasure to spend the day with. She introduced us to lots of different foods currently popular in Israel, some of which we knew,... 更多
My sister and I took a wonderful four-hour culinary market tour with Inbal today. What a treat to discover Tel Aviv through her eyes and palate. She took us from shop to shop, where we ate our way across the Yemenite Quarter and the Carmel and Levinsky Markets, delighting in hummus and shakshuka, yummy sabich in a pita; flakey bourekas;... 更多
My friend recommended this to me after arranging a tour for her friends and family attending her wedding. As this was my 7th trip to Israel, I wanted to do something different. The tour of the Levinsky Market was just that--different, wonderful, amazing and fun. Inbal is outgoing, knowledgable and funny. I learned so much from her. I had no... 更多
This was a real surprise. We thought we were just going to walk through some open air market when we signed up to tour the Levinsky Spice Market in an older section of Tel Aviv. Instead, we met Inbal, who took us from shop to shop giving us a history of the area, sampling the aromas and tastes of the... 更多
We did the food trip with Merav, and a small group of friends from the US. As a long time resident of Tel-Aviv I can say that this was a uniquely enjoyable experience. Tel-Aviv, contrary to Jerusalem, is not a monumental city. It more than makes up for this with a city pulse that only few, and much larger metropolitan... 更多
My husband and I and a friend booked a 4.5 hour tour with Inbal. She was absolutely wonderful! We discovered places we would never have found on our own. Inbal was knowledgeable, and the food we experienced was fun and delicious. Although not gourmet, it was truly Israeli and perfect from a cultural perspective. We discovered spices that we were... 更多
We did the walking tour and a cooking workshop combined. We were with a group of 25 students. It was a very nice workshop, we made a lot of different dishes and the tour on the market was also very nice. We got to try a lot of new things there. And they are very nice people, very open and... 更多
This trip with Inbal was the most wonderful treat. She took our family to a number of different food spots that we would never have found on our own. We tasted the most delicious food, while hearing about the origins of the food and learning about the people who made it. Go Hungry!!! You won't be sorry!
