We visited on a rainy day as there was not much else to do in such weather. The entrance fee is 35 shekhels which we thought was a bit too much for an exhibition in only two smaller rooms. The exhibition itself only consisted of photographs that you can also see on internet. Big dissapointment.
Tikotin is a great little museum. Great for a short visit. Easy to get around. Very jnnteresnting displays with explanations in English and Hebrew. Current movies are shown daily in their lecture hall. If you arrive early, you can spend a few minutes viewing exhibits in the museum at no extra charge.
We gust came back, it is not a museum. They gust show you a room with Japanese pictures taken from their holiday And a room with som kimonos, that's all, no culture no art no nothing. Do not go there. It is a waste of time and money
Totally random, but nice little museum, and a nice thing to do up in Merkaz Carmel. They have a lovely collection, fun rotating exhibits, and a pretty sweet gift shop!
This museum currently has an exhibit about Japanese pop culture. Large posed photos and selfies of youth. Not interesting. there are also some kimonos and some typical Japanese vessels, etc. in glass cases. I bought the combo ticket from the Haifa museum of art which included this museum for free. We spent less than 10 minutes in the museum. I... 更多
We arrived with kids that had little interest in entering but who ended up enjoying the Cosplay exhibit very much, as we did. The air conditioning was heavenly considering the heat outside. The museum is clean and modern, well lighted, and the store is excellent with many fun and clever things for sale.
Tikotin is a museum of Japanese art, on the Center of Carmel Mountain in Haifa. Usualy we visit this place to see a movie, but this place is hosting Japanese art exhibitions, from time to time lectures, etc.
I was expecting a museum; I forgot that minor museums can be pretty small. This one is worth visiting if you buy the combined museum pass for Haifa, or if you happen to be nearby. It hosts two rotating exhibits in two rooms, as well as a gift shop and a small cafeteria. The exhibits that we saw - on... 更多
Tikotin is a museum celebrating Japanese art, and is the only such museum in the Middle East. It is located on Hanasi Street on the Carmel Mountain in Haifa. There is always some sort of exhibition going on centering on Japanese art, but this place is much more just a museum. It is also a social center, and in the... 更多
Located on Hanassi Ave. on top of the Carmel mountain (near 3 hotels so you can walk from your hotel), it is a wonderful experience of Japanese old and new art. Highly recommended
