We had heard that we could rent bikes and ride around the reserve, but were initially disappointed to find out that they are available at another area, not at the National Park. We then enjoyed the introductory film, which effectively showed the crucial importance of the Hula Valley as a resting point for birds migrating between Europe and Africa. We... 更多
The reserve has an 8 km round trail than can be hiked by foot or rented bikes/buggies/golf carts. You can of course bring your own bikes (my daughter did it with her roller blades last time we were there) Lots of places to rest on the way and view the variety of birds and wildlife all year long. The most... 更多
Amazing experience for all nature lovers. Safari wagon entries into areas with limited access - it is impossible to be there with bicycle or golf car. Recommend to visit at sunset (around 17:00-18:00). This is a time when birds are gathering to night stay.
The Hula Nature Reserve (not the big Hula Park with all the vehicular attractions right next door) is very accessible (strollers, wheelchairs etc.) and great way to spend time in nature. We spent a few hours there over this holiday period and enjoyed the walking paths, the ponds, the fish, turtles and birds and the stains of colors from the... 更多
I have been inspired to visit the Hula Valley Nature Reserve ever since I heard about it from Jewish National Fund Negev Dinner featuring Steven Harper. The Hula Valley is being rehabilitated after significant ecological problems from draining the area in the 1950's to produce agricultural lands and eliminate malaria from the area. Some of Lake Hula (Agmon) has been... 更多
We were at Hula lake in the fall during the crane migration. THOUSANDS of cranes, just beauty and lush landscapes. If you have not been to this area, it will shock you at it's absolute perfection. Please go and see for yourself!
We visited slightly out of the main migration season, but there was still plenty so see. Osprey, Pied Kingfisher and Bee-eaters were our favourites. The track is 11km long and can be walked, cycled, or you can hire a golf cart, which was expensive at c£60 for two hours but worth considering. The visitors' centre is basic, but a new... 更多
We arrived in mid April after most migrating birds had departed. But, it would have been wonderful even without any birds, as the site abounds with nature, such as (very noisy) frogs, cat fish, coypu. An excellent guide with a powerful telescope pointed a bee eater and a kestrel and we also saw a kingfisher and a field full of... 更多
We visited the Agamon Hula nature reserve in November 2015 while we were visiting family in Israel. We booked a morning tour 5.30 am. You climb on board, dress up warm, it's really cold early in the morning, and the tractor takes you along the waterside. No walking just sit, enjoy the birds waking up, the sun rise, birds flying... 更多
