A blast, ponds to cool down, high plateau with unique views -- I recommend .. however: Amazing you see poeple in slippers. It's partly stony, steep, narrow and no cooled drink machine along the way. Recommend propoer shoes, sun-proof clothing and enough water in the backpack.
Depending on what time of the year you go, there is a little water or more water there. I have been twice, both in the March/April months and the first time there was heaps of water and waterfalls, the second time there was no water flowing. I would recommend coral reef shoes for this!
This is one of the beautiful places in the Yehuda desert. The David stream is a national park and you have to buy a ticket for every person. To get there ,you have to take the road from Jerusalem or from Arad to the dead sea. The David stream is -430 meters altitude which is also the altitude of the... 更多
I havent been here in decades. I had forgotten how nice it is. So basically you hike through a dessert stream uphill untill the small waterfalls (dont expect niagara falls) and back down. you can also connect to other longer and harder hikes in the area. the bottom part is paved and accessible to wheelchairs. the top part is more... 更多
The short trail is lovely for families with small kids - Nice view, few desert animals and several small water pools which you can get wet a bit (with a small waterfall at the middle of the track). About an hour walk, very easy. Have fun, Nir
The secret to enjoying this place is to arrive before the big crowd. We arrived at about 9am on a very busy holiday. Its an hour from Jerusalem. Its about 30min-2 hour walk depending on how many pools you want to visit. Lots of steps and lots of pools and waterfalls. There are ibexes and hares and other wildlife to... 更多
This is an incredible place to see given the fact that it is in the middle of the desert. It takes approximately 30min up to the big falls and then another 30min down. There are many small waterfalls that you can go under to cool off. The water is very shallow so not able to swim.
After having finished the Snake trail at Massada in the heat of nearly noon and walking up to here, the waterfall feel like heaven, cold and clear. As we did not come with a bus load of people, we had it for us for the few minutes that make such an experience worth while.
